1991 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 L
Single owner garaged kept since 4/3/1991.

100168 miles, mixed highway/city
Reason for sale is owner needs a pickup, instead of a car.
Tires have less than 5,000 miles on them. (11/27/2004)
16” ATP 5RAZZ custom aluminum wheels.
Original 16”Pony wheels/caps will be included.
Paint is all original except for rear bumper cover.
Original Ford Shop manual also included.
LeBra front bra for car.
Car gets 15-20MPG in mixed city driving, and will get 24-27MPG on highway only driving. These ratings are completely driver dependent, so those with lead foots will get MUCH worse. J Documented Engine oil changed with filter every 2,500-3,000. Car uses between 1/2-3/4 quart of oil between oil changes, which is excellent for car of this age. Ford/Motorcraft (10W30 winter / 10W40 summer) brand oil used since car was purchased. (Spare oil/filters for several changes will be included) 95% of oil changes and maintenance/repair performed by owner. Air filter changed every 8K-10K miles. Full documentation for all work and dated receipts for majority of all parts/maintenance listed below. All Ford recall are in compliance and have been performed at various Ford dealers over the years. Car is all original externally except for rear bumper cover thanks to careless drivers. Emissions test perform 7/2004, next one due is 7/2006.
Maintenance specifics:
Both mufflers replaced 5/19/2005
Alignment check/adjusted by Les Schwab 12/4/2004.
Smog pump, original started having bearing noise 6/25/2003.
Both O2 sensors replaced with new Bosch units 1/26/2003.
Radiator, now has Ford racing 3 row aluminum 8/15/2001.
Alternator, original gave up ghost around 85,000 miles or so 11/05/2001.
Both door lock and window switches replaced on both driver/passenger doors 8/2/2001.
Full front brake job by Les Schwab. This included replacing calipers/rotors and all front wheel bearings/races/seals. 5/20/2000
Starter motor, replaced by Mackenzie Ford 8/05/1998.
Starter relay replaced by me prior to having starter replaced.
Cooling fan replaced. Original plastic fan cracking at hub. Replaced as safety precaution. 8/09/2001
A/C still using R12 and last service by me in 2002. Previous to that, was serviced back in 1995. Accumulator was replaced and all coupling seals. System was evacuated and refilled at this time as well. A/C works fine, but will probably need conversion next time it requires service.
Stereo specifics:
Original head unit included with car. Original wiring harness is untouched as an adapter harness was used.
Sony head unit. CDX-MP450X (CD/MP3 player) installed 1/25/2002.
Pioneer electronic crossover network CD-635. Dash mounted and fully adjustable.
Pioneer GM 600 35WX2 for dash speakers.
Pioneer GM ??? 60Wx2 for rear deck Pioneer speakers.
Realistic 170W amp for subwoofers.
All speakers in car are Pioneer’s, including 2, 10” subs in band-pass Qlogic sub box.
Last tune-up specifics:
Full tune up performed 7/30/2001 with the following being replaced:
Distributor cap/rotor. Replaced with Ford OEM cap/rotor.
Spark plug wires set. Ford 9mm blue set specifically for 5.0L.
All coolant hoses replaced, including heater core hoses with Goodyear blue set.
Thermostat assembly replaced with OEM Ford with new gasket.
PCV valve
Spark plugs replaced with Motorcraft Platinum plugs.
Alarm system:
Clifford Matrix including shock sensor and remote trunk open. (Currently alarm horn doesn’t work.)
Other items replaced over years:
Instrument panel gage faces replaced with white ones. (Original faces included.)
Head lamp set replacement included using clear turn signal lights.
Floor mats set replaced 7/30/2001.
Headlamps and turn signals replaced with new ones, as originals were milky and ugly.
Windshield replaced for 1st (only) time 9/21/2001. Original had rock chip.
Summary:
Car is being sold as it. Some items have warranties, such as alternator and smog pump. As you can see from above car has been VERY well maintained and documented. Interior is in great shape and all original except for floor-mats. Carpet and seats have no holes or ANY stains. Everything on the car works as it should, including all power items, such as power lumbar in driver/passenger seats, power mirrors, and door locks/windows. Engine bay is very clean as I have kept it since day one. I have mixed feelings about parting with this car, as it has been a pleasure to both own and work on.
