Home Tour

Welcome to our home. Lee and I welcome you to the Tour of our world. Entering the front door you can hang your coat on the coat rack so you will have access to it at all times. From here you will turn around and see the formal living room still in the planning stage.

We know our colors but are still deciding on the look for the furniture we are going to get. We do have more than the one painting to hang on the wall but want to place them strategically around the furniture where they will bring out the most charm in our formal living room.

Walking down the hallway we encounter the monsters on a frequent basis. Although they are constantly under foot they are a joy to have around. They always run down to greet you when you come home. Here is usually where they will meet you coming in from the garage.

Directly across from the garage/laundry room door is the half bathroom.

Here are some various shots of the garage. All different angels so you can not only see the size but also the storage capacity we have to utilize.

Here is Lee's work bench with the shelves that he and his dad built so we had extra storage space. Thank you dad we needed that!

Here is the storage shelves Lee put up for me to use as a pantry. We also store on the very top and the bottom 2 shelves things for the cars.

Walking further down the hall will lead you to the kitchen dining room. Here is the view from standing in the kitchen. We have the 3 fish tanks and a beautiful view of our more than homey and comfortable family room. I love sitting in this room because it makes me feel like I am home.

Here is the view looking into our kitchen form the dining room. I love how bright and welcoming this kitchen is. It was one of the features that told us this was home. There is a lot of storage in this kitchen and the ceramic tile counter makes it even more attractive to us. Not to mention the view of the pond outside the window over the sink.

Here is the family room. We got a new entertainment center for this room in hope it would lend to the already existing charm as well as remove some of the cluttered feel it had. It was very successful and now we have an elegant and homey room full of the welcoming charm we want others to feel. The throw over the couch is the one we picked up on our second anniversary from the Stephanie Inn.

Here is a shot of the new entertainment center we got. We have a variety of new toys to put on it and moved the old version up stairs to the office until we could come up with a more permanent location in the house for it. We do have several locations in mind but have not pinpointed exactly where as of yet.

We had to get a new caddy for all our movies. We have stored in here our DVD's and VHS videos. On top are the cats mom & dad gave us for our anniversary. Next to that we have a table where we keep a lot of our photo albums. After leaving here we will wander upstairs for the second part of your Tour of our home.
